Anyone got any tips on how to get visitors to your site???
Things to cover (I know some, but not much)
-- meta tags
-- robots.txt
-- not sure; what else???

Submit to google and yahoo -- it's free!
I definitely think Meta tags are useful. I use tons of them
Also, don'tforget submitting your site to link indexers of site's like yours. If you do programming and stuf submit tutorials to pixel2life and scripts to hotscript or totalscripts.

robots.txt is a text file placed in the root directory of your site which tells bots what they can do...
Here's mine (allows all -- I think)

You can advertise on anything. Advertising sites, Search Engines, Meta Tags, banners on sites.....
a lot of stuff
